Clinical Associate Professor Glen Liddelow, a Specialist Prosthodontist and Director of The Brånemark Centre in West Perth, holds a Bachelor of Dental Science and a Master of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia, as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from the University of Sydney.
A board-certified Prosthodontist and fellow of the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists, A/Prof Liddelow serves as a faculty member at the University of Western Australia Dental School and Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he engages in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Additionally, he is a consultant prosthodontist at the Craniofacial Unit at Perth Children’s Hospital. Furthermore, Dr Liddelow provides prosthodontic consulting services for the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) program and the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) program offered by the University of Sydney.
Dr Liddelow holds the position of program co-chair, lecturer, and online expert advisor for the Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE) program at the University of Loma Linda, California, USA.
Additionally, he serves as a Key Expert and consultant for Nobel Biocare, Zurich, Switzerland, and has been a member of the development team for numerous significant advancements in implant dentistry over the past two decades.
Dr Liddelow is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists, and the Academy of Dentistry International. He is also a member of the Australian Prosthodontic Society, the Australasian Osseointegration Society, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Dental Study Group of Western Australia.
Dr Liddelow is an examiner for board certification of prosthodontic trainees for the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists.
Throughout his career, A/Prof Liddelow has presented well over 1000 papers and lectures both nationally and internationally. He has served as the scientific director for numerous international conferences and is a member of numerous university and industry boards dedicated to dental education.
Dr Liddelow is a Director of the Brånemark Centre Osseointegration training program in dental implants, which provides dentists with comprehensive training in restoring and eventually placing dental implants through a series of didactic lectures, hands-on exercises, and clinical supervision. He has also managed a mentor program for alumni for many years.
A/Prof Liddelow is the Co-Director of the Graduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry at Tufts University.
He serves as a current reviewer for the Australian Dental Journal and has also reviewed numerous dental implant-related journals.
Dr Liddelow’s research and publications encompass immediate loading, surface technology, treatment of advanced bone resorption, and implant aesthetics.
He has contributed to five textbooks on prosthodontics and implant dentistry and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
A/Prof Liddelow is moreover a clinical prosthodontist who primarily focusses on both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry and advanced oral rehabilitation.
